Lenovo backed startup “ZUK” has announced its first smartphone in China dubbed as the ZUK Z1. It comes in Grey and White colors and is priced at CNY 1799 (Rs. 18,280 / US$ 284 approx.). Registrations for the phone have already started on company’s official website and will go on sale from August 18, 2015.
ZUK Z1 Specifications
The phone measures in at 155.7 x 77.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs 175 Grams. It has Dual Nano SIM slots inside that support 4G-LTE (Cat4 150/50 Mbps) networks. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS skimmed with ZUI user interface.
Internal hardware consists of 2.5GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Processor, Adreno 330 GPU and has 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. It has 64GB of non expandable storage memory.
The cellphone sports an 8 mega pixels front shooter with OmniVision OV8865 Sensor that takes quality selfies. On the back is a powerful 13 mega pixels camera that includes Sony IMX214 Exmor RS Sensor, 1.12um Pixels, F/2.2 Aperture, Optical Image Stabilization, LED Flash, Auto Focus, Digital zoom, etc.
The hardware gets the energy from a powerful 4100 mAh Battery. The mobile phone comes with Finger Print sensor for added security. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.1, USB V3.0 Type-C, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
