ZUK partners with Cyanogen for International Z1 phone

ZUK Z1, a phone that recently launched in China is all set to go  International. This Lenovo-backed startup has announced partnership with Cyanogen for the International release of the ZUK Z1 smartphone.

The Global Variant of ZUK Z1 will run on Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The press event for the international release will be held on August 21, 2015 at Shenzhen.

For those who are unaware, ZUK Z1 specs include 5.5-Inch 1920 x 1080 pixels IPS Display with Corning Gorilla Glass and is powered by 2.5GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Chipset. This smartphone comes with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM, 64GB Storage Memory and supports 4G-LTE.

It has USB 3.0 Type-C Port and is made out of aluminum metal frame. The phone sports 8MP selfie camera and 13MP main shooter on the back with LED Flash.
