ZTE Open 2 – ZTE Open C : Firefox OS phones – Full Details

MWC 2014 is turning out to be a major launch platform for Firefox OS Phones. It was recently that Alcatel announced its One Touch Fire Series and now ZTE has done the same by unveiling the ZTE Open 2 and ZTE Open C Smartphones. Both the Device runs on Firefox 1.3 OS but sports some low end specifications.

ZTE Open 2 comes with 3.5-Inch Display at 480 x 320 Pixel Resolution, 1GHz Dual Core Processor, 256MB RAM and 2GB of Internal storage (Expandable up to 32GB). There is a 2 Mega Pixel Camera on the back but misses out the front camera. ZTE Open 2 draws its power from 1150 mAh Li-Ion battery. Connectivity options included are 2G, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0, MicroUSB V2.0, A-GPS etc.

ZTE Open C comes with Slightly better hardware. The device features a 4-Inch TFT Display with 800 x 480 Pixel Resolution. It is powered by 1.2GHz Dual Core Snapdragon 200 Processor Coupled with Adreno 302 GPU for Graphics. There is 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of Internal storage which is expandable. Unfortunately, ZTE Open C also lacks the front camera for video calling but there is a 2Mega Pixel Camera on the Back. The handset comes with slightly better 1400 mAh battery. Connectivity options of both the device remains the Same.
