ZTE Blade A1 budget phone with Fingerprint Sensor now official

Chinese phone maker ZTE expands its Blade Series of devices with the launch of Blade A1 smartphone. It is a budget smartphone with a price-tag of CNY 599 ($93 / €85 / Rs. 6220) and will go on sale in China from December 11, 2015.

It comes in Space Grey, Smart White, Cool Blue, Vibrant Yellow and Dream Green color options. There is a strong possibility that ZTE could release this phone in other markets as well.

ZTE Blade A1 Specifications include 5-Inch Display that has 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch. It has dimensions of 142 x 70.2 x 8.9 mm and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS overlapped with MiFavor 3.2 UI. The rear panel has multi-channel glare texture that gives a glassy effect.

Other Phone specs include 1.3GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6735 Processor with Malit-T720 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and MicroSD Card slot for further storage expansion. This mobile is also equipped with 8MP selfie camera on the front and and 13MP main shooter on the back with LED Flash, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording.

The hardware is backed by 2800 mAh battery. It also has a fingerprint sensor embedded on the back for added security. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack are present as well.
