Xiaomi Redmi Note Features 5″ HD Display, Octa Core CPU- Full Details

One of the top Chinese Smartphone manufacturer has officially announced successor to the Redmi Phones named the Xiaomi Redmi Note. The phone will be available from March 26, 2014, in China.

Xiaomi Redmi Note Smartphone will come in two variants. Most of the specifications in both the version remains the same however, there is a slight difference in terms of Processor Clock Speed, RAM and the Pricing.

The 1.7GHz Variant will be priced at CNY. 999 (Rs. 9,800 Approx) while its smaller cousin with clock speed of 1.4GHz will be available for slightly less price of CNY. 799 (Rs. 7,800 Approx)

Xiaomi Redmi Note Specifications

The Xiaomi Redmi Note Specs include a 5.5-Inch HD IPS Display with 1280 x 720 Pixel Resolution and uses One Glass Solution (OGS) technology for wider viewing angles.

Under the hood comes a MediaTek MT6592 Chipset based Octa Core Processor clocked in at 1.4GHz and 1.7GHz depending on the Version. There is Mali 450 GPU as well for smooth multimedia / gaming performance. The lower clocked Xiaomi Redmi Note will have 1GB of RAM while its bigger brother will have 2Gigs of RAM.

The phone comes with 8GB of In-built storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB using MicroSD Card. The device also sports a front 5 Mega Pixel camera for video calling and taking selfies. There is a 13 Mega Pixel Shooter on the back as well with LED Flash, Auto Focus and HDR Capabilities.

Xiaomi Redmi Note is a Dual SIM Handset with 3G Support. Other connectivity options also include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroUSB, A-GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. The phone comes with a decent 3200 mAh Batter to power up the device.
