Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 goes official in China – Key Specs, Price
Xiaomi has put an end to the rumors with the launch of Redmi Note 3. Company has made phone official at Grand Finale event in China. It is priced at 899 Yuan (Rs. 9,500 / $140) for 2GB RAM variant and 1099 Yuan (Rs. 11,500 / $172) for the 3GB RAM model. It comes in silver, gold and dark grey color options.

This smartphone has measurements of 149.9 x 75.9 x 8.65 mm and weighs 164 grams. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with MIUI 7 and houses dual SIM slots that support 4G-LTE.
The Redmi Note 3 Specs include 5.5-Inch IPS LCD Display that has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution at 401ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch. The screen also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for scratch resistance. Inside is a 2GHz Octa Core Helio X10 processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It has 2GB / 3GB RAM and 16GB / 32GB internal storage memory. MicroSD Card slot is also present that allows further storage expansion up to 32GB.
This mobile phone is equipped with 5MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture, wide angle lens on the front. Back side sports a 13MP main camera with F/2.2 Aperture, Dual LED Flash, Phased detection Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom, Geo-Tagging, 120fps Slow Motion and supports 1080p video recording. It also has finger print sensor on the back that unlocks the cell phone in just 0.3 seconds.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 features a 4000 mAh non removable battery inside that is claimed to last more than a day of mixed usage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. Accelerometer and proximity sensors are also included.
