Xiaomi Mi Bunny smartwatch for kids to cost under US$ 50

Xiaomi has launched a new smartwatch for kids named the Mi Bunny. It is compatible with smartphones running on Android 4.2 or up.

It is Mi’s fist smartwatch aimed at kids ecosystem and supports voice calling. It comes with pre-paid SIM card, known as the wind took card, inside with 10 Yuan ($1.56) balance. Making and Receiving calls is possible with just one click. It includes AW8155AFCR audio amplifier, anit-breaking sound and Hi-Fi.

The Mi Bunny smartwatch features LED Dot matrix display fixed on Corning food-grade liquid silicone strap and weighs a total of 37 grams. It has GPS / GLONASS support and allows parents to set phone app end safety area like surrounding the house or school route etc. When a child is outside its range, a message will immediately notify parents.

It has Triple data encryption security that consists of local data, data transmission and Mi Cloud. Inside is built-in 300 mAh Li-Po battery that is said to give standby time of 6 days. It also has an exclusive family group chat feature and anti-disturb mode as well. Other functions like voice broadcast, call back, remote monitoring, life waterproof, alarm clock, find watch etc are also present.
