Known Music Player Winamp to shut down

Once a popular audio player Winamp is soon to Rest in Peace. Download of the Audio player and other audio services are slated to shut down by December 20, 2013. It has been a first choice for online radio and Audio player during the late 90s and early 2000s.

Winamp had the best rating with sleek interface, built in artist bio and Great audio capabilities. AOL acquired the  NullSoft in 1999 for $80 Million in stock but failed to improve and bring in new Features. With the launch of iTunes and Windows Media Player providing better Audio and Radio services along with added facilities and financial backup, Demise of Winamp was inevitable. and associated web services will no longer be available past December 20, 2013. Additionally, Winamp Media players will no longer be available for download. Please download the latest version before that date. Thanks for supporting the community for over 15 years.
