UMI Rome X with 5.5-Inch HD Display, 8MP/13MP camera announced – Specs, Price
UMi has announced its latest smartphone named the ROME X. It has a budget price-tag of US$ 74.99 and comes in Champagne Gold and Shine Black color options. Pre-orders for the phone will start from January 11, 2016 and will start shipping from January 25, 2016.

The phone has measurements of 153.8 x 77 x 7.9 mm and weighs 177 Grams. It has Dual Micro SIM Slots and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It has unibody shell with metal design and poly-carbonate made back cover.
The UMi Rome X Specs include 5.5-Inch LTPS Display with 2.5D curved glass that gives 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution and supports multi-touch. Under the hood is a 1.3GHz Quad Core Cortex-A53 (64-Bit) MediaTek MT6580 Processor with Mali 400 GPU.
The Chipset is supported by 1GB RAM and 8GB of on-board storage, further expandable up to 64GB using MicroSD Card. There is a 2500 mAh battery inside that gives up to 6-8 days of standby and has a special ultra power-saving mode.
The Rome X smartphone features an 8MP camera that incorporates Sony IMX179 Sensor. It is the same sensor used in Google Nexus 5, Oppo R1, Huawei Honor 6 Plus or Nubia 9 Mini. Other primary camera features include Blue Glass Filter, F/2.0 Aperture, Low light enhancements etc. There is a secondary 2MP front facing camera as well.
Connectivity options include 4G-LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack etc. G-Sensor, Proximity and Light sensors are also present.
