Sony Xperia M5 with 5-Inch 1080p Display, Helio X10 SoC announced – Specs

Sony’s latest phone in M Series,  the Xperia M5 is now official along with Xperia C5 Ultra. It has an OmniBalance design with glass finish and comes in White, Black and Gold Color options. Company did not reveal the pricing details however, the phone will be available in select markets by mid-August 2015.

The Xperia M5 (Dual) comes in single / Dual SIM options that support 4G-LTE networks. It has dimensions of 145 x 72 x 7.6 mm and weighs 143 Grams. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS  and sports a 5.5-Inch IPS Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. It has resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and supports multi-touch.

The handset features 2.2GHz Octa Core 64-Bit MediaTek Helio X10 MT7695T with PowerVR G6200 GPU. The chipset is backed by 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage memory and MicroSD card support up to 200GB. The phone has IP65/68 certified for Water / Dust resistance.

The Xperia M5 Specs include a powerful 13MP selfi camera with Exmor RS Sensor, Auto Focus and HDR. On the back is 21.5MP main snapper on the back with IMX234 Exmor RS Sensor, F/2.2 Aperture, Hybrid Auto Focus, LED Flash and 4K recording support.

The hardware is juiced up with 2600 mAh battery with STAMINA Mode. Connectivity option sinclude Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, NFC, FM Radio with RDS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
