Sharp has announced the AQUOS Crystal 2 smartphone. The phone will be released sometime after mid-July via Softbank Mobile and will be available in four different colors options of White, Black, Pink and Turquoise. Company has not revealed details on the pricing.
Sharp AQUOS Crystal 2 Specifications
This handset is said to be water resistant (not water proof) and has measurements of 136 x 71 x 11 mm and 154 Grams weight.
The smartphone boasts a bezel-less design and has a 5.2-Inch Display that utilizes the full 71mm width. The handset has a S-PureLED display that boasts 1280 x 720 Pixels HD Resolution and supports multi-touch. Sharp has used a Grip Magic sensor on the side to detect the touch inputs.
Owing to the frame-less design the 2.1 mega pixel camera on the front has been relocated below the screen. On the back is 8 mega pixel main snapper with LED Flash and auto focus capabilities.
The AQUOS Crystal 2 specs also include a 1.2GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 processor and Adreno 305 GPU inside. The RAM has been bumped to 2GB and the storage has been increased to 16GB.
The 2030 mAh inside is claimed to power the device for hours of usage. This mobile phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and supports 4G-LTE, HD Voice, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, NFC, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, A-GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
