Samsung’s latest rugged smartphone, the Xcover 3 VE G389F (VE stands for Value Edition) is now available online in Netherlands. It is priced at EUR 228 (approximately Rs. 17,000) and is successor to Galaxy Xcover 3. Korean phone maker is expected to officially announce this mobile phone soon.

The phone measures 132.9 x 70.1 x 10 mm and weighs 154 grams. It has IP67 certification and meets US MIL_STD810G requirements. Galaxy Xcover 3 VE specs include 4.5-Inch capacitive display with 800 x 480 pixels WVGA resolution and has 16M colors. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and is powered by 1.3GHz Quad Core processor and 1.5GB RAM.
It has 8GB of internal storage memory, further expandable using MicroSD Card. Inside is 200 mAh Li-Ion battery that powers the hardware. Phone is also equipped with 2MP front camera and 5MP primary shooter on the back with LED flash, Auto Focus and 720p video recording capabilities.
Inside is Micro SIM slot that supports 4G-LTE. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotsopt, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. The mobile is also equipped with Accelerometer, Light sensor, Proximity sensor and digital compass.
