After the European Launch, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo lands in India. The phone will sell in India for Rs. 40,900 which we feel is slightly over priced.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is a cut down version of Note 3. It stands somewhere between the Galaxy Note 3 and the Note 2. The phone will be available in the country by the end of February, 2014. India will be receiving the 3G only variant whereas internationally, 4G-LTE version is also available.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo specs include a 5.5-Inch Super AMOLED HD Display with 1280 x 720 Pixel Resolution. The phone comes with a 1.7GHz Cortex-A15 + 1.3GHz Quad Core Cortex-A7 HEXA CORE Processor. For smooth performance and multi-tasking, the device will have 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of in-built storage. Internal ROM is further expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD Card Slot.
Unlike the Note 3, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo Features an 8 Mega Pixel Rear Shooter with LED Flash, BSI Sensor, OIS, Auto Focus, HDR and More. There is a front facing 2 Mega Pixel Camera as well. There is a decent 3100 mAh battery as well to juice up the hardware. Connectivity options include 2G, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, NFC, A-GPS/GLONASS, S-Pen Stylus, Infra Red, 3.5mm Audio port and more.
On the Software front, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. Pre-Installed applications include ChatON, WatchON, S Voice, S Health Smart Scroll, Smart Pause,, Story Album. S Translator etc. Additionally, S-Pen gets most of the Note 3 features like the Air Command, Multi window, S Note, Easy Clip Etc.
