Just recently, there were reports that Samsung is working a new smartphone dubbed as the Galaxy A9 Pro. Now we have confirmation regarding the matter.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro smartphone bearing model number SM-A9100 has made its way at GeekBench revealing its specifications. This device has also landed in India for testing purpose.
Shockingly, GFXBench listing reveals that the phone has 5.5-Inch Display (A9 2016 has 6-Inch) with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports 5-point multi-touch. It is powered by 1.8GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (Cortex-A72) processor with Adreno 510 GPU.
The RAM has been bumped up to 4GB (3.5GB precisely) along with 32GB on-board storage space (25GB user available). It has 16MP main shooter on the back with LED Flash, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Face Detection and records 1080p videos. On the front is 7MP selfie shooter (8MP according to 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution).
Connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm Audio Jack are present as well. The listed Galaxy A9 Pro has a Single SIM slot and also includes Accelerometer, Light Sensor, Proximity and Pedometer.
