Samsung data center catches fire, causes outages

Many would have noticed that, Company’s Global website went offline for couple of hours. Moreover, Samsung Apps in smartphones, Tablets and TV’s also reported an error or were inaccessible. The main reason behind the incident is that Samsung Data Center went into Flames.

The Fire broke out at Samsung’s SDS building in Gwacheon, South Korea. The reason for fire at the Samsung Data Center is still under investigations of which no details are have been released. Thankfully, reports suggest no casualties. Company has apologized for the outages in its official statement but did not disclose the reason.
