Samsung recently patented its J Series and now the Korean smartphone maker has launched the Galaxy J1 smartphone in Malaysia. Company has not revealed any details on availability and pricing yet.
The Galaxy J1 SM-J100F is a single SIM phone while the SM-J100H comes with dual SIM connectivity. It comes in White, Black and Blue color options.

The Mi3 Successor, the Xiaomi Mi4 has been launched in India. It will be available in white color and will go on sale in India exclusively via Flipkart on February 10, 2015. The handset is priced at Rs. 19,999. Registrations of the phone will start today from 6PM onwards. Initially only the 16GB variant will be up for sale however, Xiaomi has promised 64GB variant in near future.

Lava has launched its Iris X1 variant in India dubbed as the Iris X1 Grand. The mobile phone comes in White Silver, White Gold and Black color options and is priced at Rs. 7,326. Facebook has developed the Lite version of its Android App which is aimed specially for the Low End Android Phones. The App was silently launched for select markets in Asia and Africa that includes – Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.
The Facebook Lite app is just 252KB in size and works well with 2G internet or slow speed internet. It is based on Snaptu software that Facebook uses for feature phones. The app integrates camera and also sends out push notifications.
