OxygenOS based on Android 5.1 to debut along with OnePlus 2, Touch Screen fix included

There is no denying that the OnePlus 2 phone is nearing its release date and now the company has announced that Android 5.1 Lollipop based OxygenOS will debut alongside with its next generation flagship phone. Company has also confirmed that OxygenOS will be the official operating system for the OnePlus 2 devices.

The OxygenOS was released back in April and runs on Android 5.0.2 OS version. The updated is expected soon but unfortunately, there wont be an OTA release till the time of OnePlus 2 launch.  The OS is said to bring new improvements, features and bug fixes.

OnePlus is also working on CM 12.1 update and is currently undergoing factory testing and Google Certifications.

For many users that are facing touch screen issues in OnePlus One phones, there is a good news. The CM 12.1 and the new OxygenOS build will include a permanent fix that address all such issues.
