Oppo has launched two new smartphones in India named the F1 and F1 Plus.
The Oppo F1 is priced at Rs. 15,990 and comes in Golden color options. It will go on sale in 8 cities from February 1, 2016. The Oppo F1 Plus on the other hand is priced higher at Rs. 26,990 and will be available sometime in April.
Oppo F1 Specifications
The phone has luxurious metallic build and is made from special alloy and has Zircon sand surface coating for glossy surface. It has dimensions of 143.5 x 71 x 7.25 mm and weighs 134 Grams (including battery). It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with ColorOS 2.1 and houses Dual SIM slots inside.
The Oppo F1 Specs include 5-Inch IPS LCD Curved Edge display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The screen has 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, 294ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch.
The mobile gets the processing power from 64-Bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 CPU coupled with Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. Inside is 3GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage space and microSD Card slot that allows further storage expansion up to 128GB.
There is a 2500 mAh super saver battery inside that powers the hardware. The Oppo F1 features a powerful 8MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture, 1/4-Inch Sensor size and captures lights for sharper images. It has Beautify 3.0 and 8 live color filters, that allows image recording and has unique screen flash as well for taking selfies in low lights. On the back is 13MP main shooter with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, Auto Focus and supports 1080p video recording.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
Oppo F1 Plus Specifications
This is a premium variant that features 5.5-Inch IPS Display. It has 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 Protection and sports 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD resolution.
The F1 Plus specs include 1.5GHz x 4 + 1.2GHz x 4 (cortex-A53) Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor (64-Bit) with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage space, further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
The phone has 13MP main shooter on the back with F/2.2 Aperture, LED Flash, PDAF and supports 1080p video recording. The camera is said to be more sophisticated than the F1. There is a selfie camera as well (unknown MP). Battery details were not revealed.
The mobile runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Color OS 2.1. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Micro + Nano / MicroSD) and supports 4G-LTE / 3G HSPA+ networks. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
