OnePlus 2 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 V2.1 Processors. Company has confirmed the news via its official Forums.
Snapdragon 810 is known for its smooth 3D Gaming, 4K Ultra HD Video Recording and exceptional battery life. It is also claimed as the “Ultimate connected computer processor”, that brings PC grade computing power in a smartphone.
The 810 chipset is also known for its vast over heating issues, which could bring the negative publicity for OnePlus 2. Owing to that, Company will be using the Snapdragon 810 V2.1 , an improved version of the chipset. The SoC is claimed to be “Coooler than ever”.
The next generation flagship will Thermal Gel and Graphite layers placed across different areas of phone for proper heat dissipation. The company also went out saying that the OxygenOS has been further optimized to work flawlessly with Snapdragon 810 SoC. OnePlus 2 is also said to meet the industry standards and the company has further emphasized that the device will not over heat even with hours of usage.
