Obi Worldphone MV1 budget 4G phone announced for US$ 139
OBI Worldphone MV1 is company latest smartphone to go official. It has been designed by Ammunition, a San Francisco based product studio.
The phone is priced at just $139 (Rs. 9,530 approx.) for the 1GB RAM model while the 2GB RAM Variant is priced slightly higher at US$ 149 (Rs. 10,215 approx.).
It comes in Black, White and Red color options and will go on sale in Asia and Africa February itself. Europe and Latin American markets will get the stocks from March 2016.

The phone has dimensions of 145.6 x 72.6 x 8.95 mm and weighs 149 Grams. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop / Cyanogen OS 12.1.1 OS and houses Dual SIM Slots (Micro + Nano) that support 4G-LTE / 3G HSPA+ networks.
The Obi Worldphone MV1 Specs include 5-Inch in-Cell touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch.
Inside is 1.3GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 Processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 1GB / 2GB RAM variants with 16GB internal memory, further expandable up to 64GB using MicroSD card.
The mobile features in an 8MP primary shooter on the back with OmniVision OV8865 Sensor, F/2.2 Aperture, LED Flash, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording capabilities. There is a 2MP secondary camera on the front as well.
Inside is 2500 mAh built-in battery that powers the hardware. The phone also has DTS sound and Dual Microphones for noise cancellation. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
