Nixon Mission Android Wear Smartwatch is official, features Snapdragon Wear 2100 Soc
Nixon Mission is company’s first rugged Android Wear smartphone. It will go on sale later this year in October and is expected to be priced at around US$ 400 (Rs. 26,690 approx.).
Nixon Mission Features
This is a rugged smartwatch specially designed for adventure sports like skiing, snowboarding, surfing etc. It is water resistant up to 10 meters or 10 ATM. It has 48mm super durable polycarbonate case making it shot resistant as well. Its 316L surgical grade stainless steel raised bezels protects the touch screen and improves durability.
The Nixon Mission rugged smartwatch is powered by Android Wear and comes with Google Fit activity tracking. It also supports voice search, music / gesture controls etc. Inside is Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage memory.
This smartwatch will be compatible with phones running on Android 4.3 or iOS 8.2 or higher. The Nixon Trace App pairs with Trace technology and allows users to track sessions and check stats.
This smartwatch has multiple bezel choices (15 plus) that include gold, stainless steel, gunmetal, cerakote etc. Customization is also possible via company’s official website. Moreover, Mission will come with more that 20 band options to choose from.
