Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) launched in India – Specs, Price

Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) is now official. Company has launched the cell phone in India at a Delhi based event. The phone comes in White and Black color options and will be available exclusively via Flipkart.

The 8GB storage variant with 1GB RAM is priced at Rs. 11,999 and the 16GB model with 2GB RAM carries price-tag of 12,999. Flipkart will also offer special goodies for buyers who buy the phone til August 2, 2015.

For starters, this is a Dual SIM smartphone that supports 4G-LTE network in India. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a 2470 mAh Battery inside. The phone has IPX7 certification for water resistance.

The Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) specs includes 5-Inch Display that boasts 1280 x 720 Pixels resolution, supports multi-touch and has Corning Gorilla Glass protection for scratch resistance.

Inside is a 1.4GHz Quad Core 64-Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 Processor coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. It comes in two RAM / Storage option of 1GB RAM with 8GB internal Storage and 2GB RAM with 16GB of storage ROM. Storage is further expandable up to 32GB using MicroSD card.

The Moto G (3rd Gen) has a 72-degree wide angle 5 mega pixel camera on the front for selfies. The rear side has a powerful 13 mega pixel primary camera with dual-tone LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture, IR Filter, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording capabilities.
