Motorola Moto E 2nd Generation 4G phone goes on sale in India

Motorola has officiall launched the Moto E 2nd Generation 4G smartphone in India. The phone phone is up for sale via Flipkart for Rs. 7,999 and will ship from April 23, 2015. Launch offers include 70% discount on 8GB Trancend Class 4 Card, 100% cash back for 200 customers and Unlimited music on Saavn Pro for 6 months.

This phone has single micro SIM slot that supports 3G and LTE bands depending on the variant. The measurements are 129 x 66.8 x 12.3 mm with 5.2mm curve and weighs 145 Grams. There is a water resistant coating similar to its predecessor.

The Moto E 2nd generation 4G (2015) Specs include a 4.5-Inch IPS Display with 960 x 540 Pixels Resolution and 245ppi Pixel density. It has 64.3% Screen to body ratio and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection along with Anti Smudge Coating.

Inside is a 1.2GHz Quad Core Cortex-A53 Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with Adreno 306 GPU.  There is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of Internal Storage which is further expandable up to 32GB using MicroSD Card.

On the front is a 0.3 Mega Pixels VGA camera coupled with 5 Mega Pixel main camera on the back. Some of the camera features include LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, Auto Focus, Quick Capture, Tap to Focus, 4x Digital Zoom, Slow Motion, Burst Mode, Auto HDR, Panorama, Geo-Tagging, 720p @ 30 Fps etc.

The Motorola Moto E 2nd Generation 4G has 2390 mAh battery inside that gives 24 Hours of mixed usage. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and has all the connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
