Micromax Canvas Tabby P469 with dual use mode launched in India. It comes in White color option and is priced at Rs. 6,499. Initially for the first three weeks, the Slate will be available from Flipkart on June 22, 2015. Later the tablet will be released on other e-commerce websites and retail outlets.

The Tablet has a 7-Inch TFT display that has 1024 x 600 Pixels Resolution. It is powered by 1.3Ghz Dual Core MediaTek MT8312 Processor, 1GB RAM and sports 8GB of Internal Storage memory. There is a MicroSD card slot as well for up to 32GB.

It has dual use mode for parents and kids. The Kids-use mode limits the use of tablets using parental control features.  The Kids-use mode is powered by EddyPaddy (developed by Educren) and comes with pre-loaded applications and content that includes 500 curated videos for education, entertainment and creativity.

The Canvas Tabby P469 also has a 2 mega pixel primary camera on the back and a has a VGA front facing camera as well. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, A-GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
