Micromax Canvas Fire 5 with 5.5-Inch HD display, Android 6.0 OS launched

Micromax expands its Fire series with the launch of its latest mobile called the Canvas Fire 5. It is priced at Rs. 6,199 and comes in grey, silver and champagne colour options. The phone also includes free 6 months premium Gaana subscription.

The phone houses 5.5-Inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has 1.3GHz Quad Core MediaTek MT6580 processor with Mali 400 GPU.

The Canvas Fire 5 specs include 1GB DDR RAM, 16GB internal storage (10.5GB user available) memory and MicroSD card slot which allows further expansion up to 64GB. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The mobile features in an 8MP main shooter on the back with LED Flash, Auto Focus and supports 1080p video recording. There is a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front. The handset is equipped with dual speakers and supports Auro 3D sound as well.

It has 2500 mAh battery inside that gives about 8.5 hours of talk time and 450 Hours standby. The phone had Dual SIM slots and supports 3G HSPA+ networks. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
