Micromax has launched its latest budget Android smartphone called Bharat 5. It has dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE.
The phone packs in a 5.2-inch multi-touch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core processor and sports 1GB RAM.
The Micromax Bharat 5 specs include 16GB internal storage space, and allows further expansion up to 64GB using MicroSD card. It comes pre-installed with Android 71. Nougat OS.
The mobile features in 5MP front camera with LED flash. On the back side is another 5MP shooter with LED flash and 720p video recording support.
The hardware is powered by 5000 mAh battery, which should last you for couple of days. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, GPS, MicroUSB V2.0, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Micromax Bharat 5 is priced at Rs. 5555 will be sold across India via offline channels. Micromax has partnered with Vodafone to offer 50GB free data to smartphone buyers (new and existing Vodafone customers).
Micromax has set a target of 6 Million Bharat units to be sold by March 2018. Company has also revealed that it will launch Bharat 5 Plus and Bharat 5 Pro smartphones in couple of months.
