Meizu has announced the next generation M2 Note smartphone. The phone will be available in China from JD.com and Meizu official website for 799 Yuan (Rs. 8,220 / US$ 129) for 16GB variant and 999 Yuan (Rs. 10,250 / US$ 161) for 32GB version. The cellphone comes in White, Grey, Blue and Pink color options.

The phone measures in at 150.9 x 75.2 x 8.7 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 149 Grams. It has hybrid dual SIM slots of which the first SIM slot can be used for MicroSD card. It runs on Flyme OS that is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Inside is a 1.3GHz Octa Core 64-Bit MediaTek MT6753 Processor with Mali-T720 GPU clocked at 600 MHz. The chipset is supported by 2GB DDR3 RAM for smooth multi-tasking. The handset has 16GB and 32GB Storage variants both supporting further expansion up to 128GB.
The 3100 mAh Battery will keep the cellphone powered up for long hours. The 5 mega pixel selfie camera on the front will attract the youth as it has an OmniVision 5670 Sensor, 4P Lenses, F/2.0 Aperture and has 69 degree wide viewing lens. Further more, on the back is a 13 mega pixel primary shooter with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, 5P lens, Auto Focus, HDR and 1080p video recording capabilities.
The Meizu M2 Note supports all the connectivity features like 4G-LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, A-GPS, 3.5mmAudio Jack etc.
