LG Electronics has unveiled its latest smartphone named the LG V10. It is the first among its V Series of phones, specially designed for rich multimedia experience.
The phone comes in Space Black, Luxe White, Modern Beige, Ocean Blue and Opal Blue color options. It will go on sale in Korea in October 2015, soon followed by United States, Latin America, Middle East, China and key markets in Asia. Pricing and availability dates will be announced locally in coming weeks.

LG V10 Specifications
The phone has a resilient Dura Guard frame that secures the display and protect the smartphone from tumbles and hard bumps. Frame is made up of SAE grade 316L stainless steel for durability.
On the back and bottom of the display has a resilient but soft Dura Skin that offers added protection from direct impacts, nicks and scratches. The rear side has a back grid pattern, that is specially designed to offer more grip. The phone is also MIL-STD-810G Transit Drop Compliant for shock, tested via MET laboratories by dropping the phone from the height of 48-inches repeatedly. The handset has dimensions of 159.6 x 79.3 x 8.6 mm and weighs 192 Grams.
The LG V10 Specs include a dual display setup. It has a 5.7-Inch IPS Quantum Display that has 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution ant 513 ppi pixel density. The secondary display is a 2.1-Inch IPS Quantum Screen that has 160 x 1040 pixels resolution at 513ppi pixel density. The second display can be set up as an “always on” screen to increase productivity without impacting battery life. It can be used for Weather, Time, Date, Battery, dedicated launching area for shortcuts or apps along with in game, call and message notifications without directly blocking the view on main screen.
The phone is powered by a 1.8GHz Hexa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with Adreno 418 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB internal storage space. MicroSD card slot is also present that allows further expansion up to 2TB. This mobile phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with LG UX and is powered by a decently powerful 3000 mAh removable battery. Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging technology is also supported that charges 50% in just 40 minutes.
The LG V10 Features a powerful 16MP main shooter on the back with F/1.8 Aperture, Optical image Stabilization 2.0, Laser Auto Focus and 4K video recording. It also has additional features like Steady Record, Snap Video, 15 Sec. Auto Edit, Quick Video Editor, Audio Monitor and Wind Noise Filter. This Cell Phone also sports a 5MP dual lens setup on the front with 80-degree standard angle and 120-degree wide angle lens. The front camera uses a a special software algorithm that combines images from two separate lens.
Bundled with features, the V10 is equally secure. It has a popular Knock Code and a new fingerprint sensor that works with Android Pay in the US markets. This mobile phone houses Dual SIM slots that support 4G-LTE at Cat6 speeds, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
This is a multimedia smartphone that features 32 bit Hi-Fi DAC by ESS technology. It automatically detects connected devices and offers customized sound control options. It is also the first smartphone to use Qualcomm’s TruSignal antenna boost technology for optimization of signal strength.
