South Korean phone maker LG has launched a smart flip phone in Korea dubbed as the LG Gentle. It comes in Burgundy and Navy color options and is priced at 200,000 South Korean Won (US$ 170 / Rs. 11,000 approximately).
This old school flip phone will be available from July 29, 2015 from LG U+ Operator. There is no word yet on the global release.
LG Gentle Specifications
The Flip Phone has dimensions of 117.7 x 58.7 x 16.6 mm and weighs 143 Grams. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and has a dedicated Q button that allows users to start the most recent application.
The LG Gentle Specs include a 3.2-Inch LCD Capacitive Touch Screen that has 480 x 320 Pixels Resolution. It is powered by 1.1GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 210 Processor, Adreno 304 GPU and has 1GB RAM.
Inside is 4GB Storage ROM and supports MicroSD card slot for further storage expansion. This Clamshell Android Phone feature a VGA front camera and 5 Mega Pixel main snapper on the back.
The cell phone is 4G-LTE capable and supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. The hardware is backed by 1700 mAh removable battery.
