LG G4 to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update next week

Good news for LG G4 smartphone users. LG has confirmed that it will start rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update from next week. LG G4 users in Poland will be the first to receive the update followed by other markets in Europe, Asia and America.

With this, the LG G4 will be the first mobile phone to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Further information on the Android M update schedule and models eligible for update will be announced in individual markets.

This latest update to G4 model will bring array of improvements to enhance the user experience. It will include a special DOZE Mode that automatically shuts down background process for certain applications when the phone is idle, resulting in increased battery life.

It will include Silent feature for vibrate and Sound mode, Do Not Disturb Mode that comes with option of blocking all or some sounds like notification or alarms etc.

In terms of security, the permissions have been simplified will added control on Application permissions, that can be accessed any time.
