LG has officially launched the much awaited LG G4 smartphone in Korea. This fourth generation device will go on sale in Korea from tomorrow for KRW 825,000 that converts to Rs. 48,900 or US$775 approximately. The phone comes in multiple color options of Metallic Gray, Shiny Gold, Ceramic White with Black, Brown, Red, Sky Blue, Beige or Yellow genuine leather options. Global roll out via 180 carriers is expected soon but in a phased manner.

LG G4 Features
Like its predecessor LG G3, the G4 sports the same volume rockers along with power button on the back panel. It has dimensions of 149.1 x 75.3 x 8.9 mm and has a slight curve for improved handling and rigidity (up to 20%). The Polycarbonate body ensures light weight and the textured rear panel is scratch resistant (according to company).
The LG G4 Specs include a 5.5-Inch Quantum LCD Capacitive Touch Screen that boasts 2560 x 1440 Pixels Resolution and 534ppi Pixel Density. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and supports multi-touch. The display is said to be have 20% wider color reproduction, 25% brighter and 50% higher in contrast than its predecessor.
This beast of a phone gets the processing power from 1.8GHz Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Processor coupled with Adreno 418 GPU. The international variant has 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage memory and a MicroSD card slot that allows further expansion up to 32GB.
The LG G4 Features and improved camera as well. It has a 16 Mega Pixel main shooter on the back with features like F/1.8 Aperture, Dual Color Spectrum Sensor, laser auto focus, Optical Image Stabilization 2.0, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Panorama, HDR, Geo-Tagging, 2160p @ 30 fps, 1080p @ 60fps and more. Moreover, there is a powerful 8 Mega Pixel shooter on the front with on board IR Filter for crystal clear selfie photos and video calling.
This smartphone has LG UX 4.0 user interface overlapped all over Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It has KnockCode, Knock On, Health App, Smart Notice 2.0, Super Fast Gallery, Smart Calendar and more. The phone is equipped with 1W speaker for enhanced audio experience. Inside is a powerful 3000 mAh removable battery with fast charging technology (60% in 30 Minutes).
As expected from the flagship, the G4 supports 4G-LTE with Cat6 speeds of up to 300 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload.
