LG G2 4G-LTE enabled Smartphone lands in India, priced at Rs 49,000

The Lack of 4G-LTE Capable smartphones and Limited service providers has resulted in slow adaptation of technology amongst the People in India. All new LG G2 4G-LTE enabled smartphone hopes to change the scenario in the country.

The LG G2 4G-LTE version has finally arrived in India. The phone comes in two variants of 16GB and 32GB and are priced at Rs. 46,000 and Rs. 49,000 Respectively. The handset will be available in three color options of Gold, Black and White.

Amit Gujral, LG India’s Mobile communications product and Marketing head cites that “4G is expected to go mainstream by the end of 2015 and the LG G2 4G-LTE is the first step for the Indian Customers”. 4G being one of the most awaited mobile telephony Service, LG expects an early head start.

LG G2 4G-LTE Specs

The Phone comes with 5.2-Inch True HD IPS + LCD Display with 1920 x 1080 Pixel Resolution. The 424ppi Pixel Density will enhance the sharpness and clarity of the display with more vibrant colors. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 2 Protection as well. For Smooth performance and Lag free experience, LG G2 4G-LTE features 2.26GHz Quad Core Krait 400 Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 Chip set along with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

The handset will have two storage options of 16GB and 32GB but misses out Micro SD card slot. The device has a front 2.1 Mega Pixel camera and a 13 Mega Pixel Snapper on the back with features like LED Flash, Auto Fcous, OIS, HDR, Geo-Tagging etc. There is a 3000 mAh Li-Po non removable battery that gives out up to 17 Hours of 3G Talk Time. The Phone run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean which is upgradable to Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat OS.

    Its really a great news to hear that LG lunches a smart phone LG G2 which is 4G enabled. But the price range is a little bit higher than some other companies. LG is a branded company and all the hand sets are quite impressive and energetic. It is assumed that this phone would be a great phone for 4G users.
