LG Electronics has announced the Successor to G Pro named the LG G Pro 2. The phone has been unveiled initially for the Korean Markets but is expected reach in Europe and Asia Soon. The phone will be made available in Korea by the end of February 2014. It was previously rumored that LG would unveil the Smartphone at MWC however, this early announcement comes as a surprise.
LG G Pro 2 features 6-Inch True Full HD IPS Plus LCD Capacitive touch screen with 1920 x 1080 Pixel Resolution at 367ppi Pixel Density. Additionally, the phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. Under the hood, this beast of a phone packs in 2.26GHz Quad Core Krait 400 Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 Chipset coupled with Adreno 330 GPU.
For the Smooth Experience, LG G Pro 2 packs in 3GB of RAM. There are two storage options of 16GB and 32GB both expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card Slot. The handset is even equipped with a better camera as well. There is a 2.1 Mega Pixel Front facing camera capable of recording 1080p Videos at 30Fps. On the back, the device sports 13 Mega Pixel Shooter with Optical Image Stabilization Technology and HDR.
The phone will run on Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat Operating System out of the Box. To power up the phone for long hours, the device comes with 3200 mAh Removable Battery. On the Connectivity Front, Phone has all the major options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Dual Band, DLNA, MicroUSB V2.0 Slim Port, USB Host, Bluetooth V4.0, A-GPS / S-GPS / GLONASS, Infrared Port etc.
