LG G Pad II 10.1 Tablet with Snapdragon 800 SoC announced

LG’s latest Android Tablet, the G Pad II 10.1 has been officially announced. It comes in both 4G-LTE and Wi-Fi variants and will be showcased at IFA 2015 held at Berlin from September 4th to 9th. It will be launched at key markets in Asia, Europe and North America from September and the pricing details will be announced locally. The Tablet comes in Brilliant Bronze color option.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 was developed in response to consumers’ feedback and optimized for multimedia consumption. Customers asked for a large display, bigger battery and faster performance all without raising the price. The G Pad II delivers on all counts.

The tablet sports a sleek design with soft metallic finish and has slim bezels. It has dimensions of 254.3 x 161.1 x 7.8 mm and weighs 489 Grams. It comes in Wi-Fi and LTE options and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It has a special Reader Mode, Dual Window and Quick Memo+ for improved user experience.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 specs include a powerful 2.26GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor inside with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage ROM. MicroSD card slot is also present.

The Tablet has a 10.1 -Inch WUXGA Display that boasts 1920 x 1200 Pixels Resolution at 224ppi pixel density. There is a 2MP Selfie camera on the front and 5MP main shooter on the back.

LG has managed to include a huge 7400 mAh battery inside that keeps the slate alive. Connectivity features include LTE Cat4 (Optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, USB V2.0, A-GPS etc.
