LeTV Le1S vs UMi Iron Pro – Specs and Design comparison
UMi recently released the Iron Pro smartphone with metal body. It has 5.5-Inch 1080p screen, Octa Core MediaTek MT6753 Soc, 3GB RAM and 16GB storage space. On the other hand LeTV Le1S sports a uni-body metallic design with Helio X10 Octa Core processor. It has 5.5-Inch 1080p display 3GB RAM and 32GB storage ROM. Both of these smart phones are quiet similar.
Both these phones sports uni-body metallic design with round corners. The UMi Iron pro weighs 148 grams and is 7.9mm thick and is equipped with skyline LED notification. The LeTV Le1S has thickness of 7.5mm and is slightly heavier at 169 Grams.
Both of these smartphones feature 5.5-Inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD Resolution. The UMi Iron Pro has a LCD Panel with MiraVision Technology. The LeTV Le1S uses In-Cell Screen which is a different technology.
Both the phones have an octa core processor inside with 3GB RAM. UMi is offering MediaTek MT6753 Octa Core Processor while the LeTV incorporates Helio X10 SoC inside. Both the devices can handle smooth multi-tasking.
UMi has used three biometric security types like Fingerprint ID, Eye Print Authentication and Voice unlock. It authenticates users in just 0.3 seconds without turning on the screen. The LeTV’s offering include a Finger print reader, that allows users to access device on a secure way. Both phones have the sensors located on the back side.
LeTV Le1S houses a 13MP camera on the back with Samsung Sensor (unknown model number) with LED Flash coupled with 5MP Selfie camera on the front. The Umi Iron Pro is also equipped with 13MP main camera on the rear side. It has Sony IMX214 Sensor inside with 8MP front facing selfie camera with dedicated LED Flash.
The OS interface on the cell phones are different. The UMI Iron Pro has a minimum change to the OS, offering near pure Android experience. It also has intelligent power saving mode and includes heart-rate and stress level monitoring apps. The LeTV Le1S has its own firmware called the EUI 5.5. It is slightly different from traditional Andriod OS. EUI offers meticulous user experience with additional funtionality.
Both the phones support 2G, 3G and 4G-LTE networks. They have Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby. Both of these devices have USB Type-C port as well that allows faster transfer of information from smartphone / computers.
Price and Conclusion
UMi Iron Pro is priced at US$ 179.99 while its closest competitor, the LeTV Le1S costs US$ 209. There is a significant price difference between the two, however, both the handsets are almost the same. Yes, Iron Pro has slight upper hand but Le1S will not disappoint you too.
