Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 featuring 10-Inch Display, 64-Bit Quad Core SoC announced

Lenovo has announced the the Lenovo Tab 2 A1-70 at MWC 2015 along with Lenovo Tab A8. It comes in Pearl White and midnight blue color options and is priced at US$199 (Rs. 12,250) for thw Wi-Fi variant and US$279 (Rs. 17,200) for the LTE model. The Tablet will start shipping from April 2015.

The tablet measurements are 247 x 171x 8.9 mm and weighs 500 Grams. There is an LTE variant that supports voice calling. It has 10.1-Inch IPS LCD Display with 1920 x 1080 Pixels full HD resolution with 218ppi pixel density and 66.63% screen to body ratio.


Under the hood is a 1.5GHz Quad Core Cortex-A53 MediaTek MT8732 Processor for the LTE Variant. The Wi-Fi version is powered by 1.5Ghz Quad Core 64-Bit MediaTek MT8165 Processor. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is a MicroSD card slot as well that allows further expansion up to 32GB.

Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 specs also include a 5 Mega Pixel auto focus camera on the back coupled with a 8Mega Pixel selfie camera on the front. There is a powerful 7200 mAh battery that keeps the tablet powered up.

This device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and has all connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, A-GPS, Multi speaker sound bar, Dolby ATMOS 3D Surround Sound, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
