Its not hidden that the OnePlus is working on a Mini variant. It will be a mid-segment device that is expected to be priced at around US$ 250 (Rs. 16,300) and official release date slated for November or December 2015, if reports are to be believed.
OnePlus Mini Specs (rumored)
The phone is said to have a 5-Inch Display that has 1920 x 1080 pixels FHD resolution. It will have 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection and supports multi-touch.
The OnePlus Mini rumored specs suggests an Octa Core MediaTek MT6795T Helio X10 SoC inside with PowerVR G6200 GPU. This upcoming mid-range smartphone will be equipped with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM along with 32GB of internal storage space, further expandable via MicroSD Card.
The handset will run on Oxygen OS that is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Finger print sensor is also rumored to be present. The OnePlus Mini is said to be powered by 3000 – 3100 mAh non removable Li-Po battery with fast charging capabilities.
Unlike the previous rumors, the said prototype cell phone features a single 13MP rear facing camera with IMX258 Sensor, Dual-Tone LED Flash and 4K recording capabilities. It also has a 5MP selfie camera on the front as well with wide-angle lens and supports 1080p.
Other rumored specifications include 4G-LTE (obviously), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.1, USB Type-C port, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. It also has a 1.2W front facing speaker for optimum sound.
