Domestic phone maker Lava Mobiles has launched its latest smartphone in Iris series dubbed as the Lava Iris Icon. The phone is already up for sale in India for Rs. 11,499 via e-retailer Snapdeal. Company is also offering free Selfie stic for the first 500 customers that buy the phone.
The Iris Icon sports a 5-Inch IPS Fully Laminated display with Asahi Dragon Trail Glass. The display gives 1280 x 720 Pixels HD Resolution at 294ppi pixel density.
Inside is a 1.3GHz Quad Core MediaTek processor and Mali 400 GPU for the graphics. The chipset is backed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage ROM. MicroSD card slot is also present that allows further expansion up to 32GB.
On the front is a 5 Mega Pixel selfie camera with F/2.4 Aperture and BSI2 Sensor. The rear side has a 13 Mega Pixel Main Shooter with features like Dual LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture, Sony EXMOR BSI 2 Sensor, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom, HDR, Panorama, Geo-Tagging etc.
The hardware is backed with a powerful 2500 mAh Li-Po battery. The phone measurements are 143.41 x 70.56 x 7.7 mm and weighs 143 Grams. It has Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby and supports 3G connectivity. It runs on Android 4.4. KitKat OS and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB v2.0, A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
