Kyocera, Japanese carrier KDDI and product designer Naoto Fukasawa have come together and announced a designer mobile phone dubbed as the Kyocera INFORBAR A03. It comes in Red, Blue, Pink and Brown color options and will go on sale from au by KDDI in Japan from February 2015. The phone will also have options of a limited edition designer patterned case and wooden dock.

The phone sports a Aluminum Body with IPX5, IPX8 and IP5X certifications which makes the phone dust proof and water proof. It has a single nano SIM slot that supports 2G, 3G and 4G-LTE networks. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS overlapped with Iida UI and has a 2020 mAh battery that gives 17 Hours of 3G talk time.

It is powered by a 2.3GHz Quad Core Krait 400 Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AB Processor and Adreno 330 GPU for the graphics. The chipset is backed by 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and has 16GB of Storage ROM which is further expandable using MicroSD Card.
The INFOBAR A03 sports a 2 Mega Pixel camera on the front for video calling and a 13 Mega Pixel main camera on the back. Some of the camera features include LED Flash, CMOS Sensor, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom, Panorama, HDR, Face Detection, Continuous Shooting, Geo-Tagging etc. In terms of connectivity, this mobile phone also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, A-GPS, NFC, IR Blaster, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
