Samsung has high hopes for its Galaxy A Series phones. Just recently, the Korean phone maker has launched the 2016 variants of Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 smartphones along with Snapdragon 652 powered Galaxy A9.
An exclusive report published online suggests that Samsung is working on a new phone. It may or may not be called as the Galaxy A9 Pro. It bears model number SM-A9100 and is definitely a variant of Galaxy A9 as it has model number SM-90000.
Currently the firmware is being being developed and is for Chinese markets, at least at initial level. There is no specific details available for the device yet.
Current Galaxy A9 phone features 6-Inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 652 SoC and 3GB RAM. Perhaps, this upcoming phone has 6-Inch 1440p display, Snapdragon 652 or Snapdragon 808 SoC and 3GB RAM.
We will have to wait as see as to how the device turns up, aesthetically and in terms of specs. Android 6.0 Marshmallow running phone is also a strong possibility.
