iPhone 6 with 5.5″ Display might be more powerful than 4.7″ Variant

Its no big secret that the Apple will launch its upcoming iPhone 6 in two Variants with different Screen size of 4.7-Inch and 5.5-Inch. Both the phones are expected to have better screen resolution as well. The latest reports from Timothy Arcuri, analysts at Cowen & Co, hints that Apple will be mounting a faster Processor chipset on the 5.5-Inch Variant.

He further reasons that the 5.5-Inch Variant could have multiple possibilities of architectural splits due to its larger die. Apple could add multiple Graphics Processing cores as well. The chip believed to be in use is the “A8”. Additionally, both the 5.5-Inch iPhone 6 and 4.7-Inch iPhone Variant could have different touch modules as well.

Apple has already released the iPad Air with a 1.39GHz A7 Processor while the iPad Mini with Retina Display comes with slightly less powerful 1.29GHz A7 Processor. If Arcuri’s reports is to be believed, Apple might apply the same funda with iPhone 6. For Official Specs, we will have to wait till mid September.
