Intex Cloud Cube entry level phone with Quad Core SoC goes on sale in India

Indian phone maker Intex’s newest smartphone named the Cloud Cube, now available in India. It is priced at Rs. 3,399 and is listed on while the MRP is Rs. 4,290.

The phone sports entry level specs, considering its pocket-friendly price-tag. It comes in Grey and white color options and comes with free screen guard and protective screen cover and in-box accessories. Official launch of the phone is expected soon.

Intex Cloud Cube Specifications

This is a Dual SIM (GSM + WCDMA) smartphone that weighs 105 Grams. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Cloud Cube Specs include 4.5-inch IPS Display with 854 x 480 pixels FWVGA Resolution. Internal hardware makes up of 1.2GHz Quad Core Spreadtrum SC7731 Processor, Mali 400 GPU and is backed by just 512MB RAM.

This mobile phone sports 8GB of on-board storage memory and a MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 32GB. It has a 0.3MP VGA camera on the front and 2MP primary camera on the back with LED Flash. Interestingly, Slo-mo videos are also supported (expect a low quality).

There is a slight confusion in terms of battery, eBay listing says 2000 mAh battery that give 4-5 hours of talk time or 200 hours of standby. The listing at HomeShop18 mentions a 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery with 8-9 hours of talk time and 220 hours standby. We have to wait till the phone officially launches.

Connectivity options like 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack etc are present as well.
