Intex Aqua Fish with Sailfish OS 2.0 coming in April

Intex has officially announced its first Sailfish OS based smartphone at MWC 2016 named the Aqua Fish. Company showcased the phones prototype back at MWC Shanghai.

The Aqua Fish comes in Orange and Black color options and will launch sometime in April. It will cost around Rs. 7,000.

Intex Aqua Fish Specifications

This will be a Dual SIM smartphone with Dual Standby and will supports 4G-LTE and 3G HSPA+ networks. It will run on Sailfish OS 2.0 out of the box.

The Aqua Fish specs include 5-Inch IPS Display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and will support multi-touch. Inside will be a 1.3GHz Quad Core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage space, further expandable using MicroSD Card.


The mobile will be equipped with 2MP selfie camera and 8MP primary shooter on the back with LED Flash.  The hardware will draw the power from 2500 mAh battery.

Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack will be present as well.
