iBall Slide i701 Windows 8.1 budget tablet launched – Specs, Price

iBall has launched a budget Windows 8.1 OS tablet in India dubbed as the iBall Slide i701. It is priced at just Rs. 4,999 thus making it the cheapest Windows 8.1 Tablet in the world. The slate will go on sale from May 21, 2015 via e-commerce portals. iBall is also offering a free back cover signed by Kareena Kapoor, Free HDMI Cable (worth Rs. 699) and three replaceable protective covers (worth Rs. 500).

iBall Slide i701 Specifications

The slate has a 7-Inch IPS display and comes with HD resolution. Inside is a Intel Atom Quad Core Chipset and 1GB RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD Card slot. Company is also giving 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage and free Microsoft Office license for 1 Year.

iBall Slide i701 Tablet specs include a VGA front camera along with 2 mega pixel primary shooter on the back. It runs on Windows 8.1 OS and is upgradable to Windows 10 for free in near future.

There is no SIM Slot however, 3G is accessible via dongle.  It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, Micro HDMI, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. The hardware is backed by a 3200 mAh battery inside.
