Huawei has announced the next-gen M2 Tablet at a press conference held at Beijing International Art Academy. It comes in 16GB and 64GB storage options and has Wi-FI only and LTE Variants.
The 16GB Wi-Fi model is priced at 1588 Yuan ($256/€232/Rs. 16,205 ) while the 64GB Wi-Fi variant costs 1888 Yuan ($304/€276/Rs. 19,250) . The 16GB LTE Version is priced at 1888 Yuan ($304/€276/Rs. 19,250) while the 64GB LTE model carries price-tag of 2288 Yuan ($367/€334/Rs. 23,230). The tablet will be available from July 16 and will have registrations for that.

It has measurements of 214.8 x 124 x 7.8 mm and weighs 330 Grams. It has Wi-FI and 4G-LTE variants and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Emotion UI 3.1.
The Huawei Mediapad M2 Tablet specs include an 8-Inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution,283ppi pixel density and supports 10 finger multi-touch.
It has a 2GHz Octa Core HiSilicon Kirin 930 Processor inside with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and sports 16GB and 64GB storage options along with MicroSD Card support (128GB).
The M2 Tablet has 99.5% metal build with slim metallic bezels on the sides. It has dual antenna design for signal boost. It has Harmon Kardon Clari-Fi sound technology for enhanced audio experience.
In terms of camera, there is a 2 mega pixel selfie shooter on the front and 8 mega pixel primary camera on the back with LED Flash and auto focus capabilities.
The tablet supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.0, A-GPS / GONASS, MicroUSB V2.0, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. It also has accelerometer, proximity and compass inside. The hardware is backed by a powerful 4800 mAh Li-Po non removable battery.
