Huawei Honor 5C with fingerprint sensor, metal body announced – Specs, Price
Chinese phone maker Huawei has announced it latest mobile named the Huawei 5C. It has metal body and comes in Gold, Silver and Grey color options. It is priced at 899 Yuan (Rs. 9230 / US$ 138) for standard model. The Dual 4G variant is priced slightly higher at 999 Yuan (Rs. 10,250 / US$ 154).

The phone has dimension of 147.1 x 73.8 x 8.3 mm and weighs 156 grams. It has hybrid Dual SIM Slots (Nano SIM + Nano SIM / MicroSD) and supports 4G-LTE with VoLTE. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Huawei EMUI 4.1.
The Honor 5C Specs include 5.2-Inch IPS Display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch. Inside is 1.7GHz x 4 + 2GHz x 4 (both Cortex-A53) Kirin 650 Octa Core Processor with Mali-T830 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage space, further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
The phone sports mull metal body and a Fingerprint sensor on its back, that unlocks the phone is just 0.5 seconds. It also houses Box Speakers, Smart PA amplifiers and SWS sound for enhanced audio. Inside is 3000 mAh (typical) / 2900 mAh (minimum) battery.
In terms of camera, the mobile features 13MP main shooter on the back with LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture, 5P Lens and Auto Focus. On the front is 8MP selfie camera, equipped with F/2.0 Aperture and 4P lens. Connectivity options include 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1 LE, GPS, MicroUSB V2.0, 3.5mmm Audio Jack etc.
