HTC has officially unveiled the One M9 variant in China (event held at Beijing) dubbed as the HTC One M9+. It will be available in Silver, Gunmetal Grey and Gold color options and will go on sale in Chinese markets soon. There is no word on the global roll out date and the phones pricing however, we expect further details to be available soon.
Like the M9, the One M9+ sports the same uni-body metallic that retains the premium feel factor. HTC has equipped a finger print sensor bellow the display for secured lock and payments. The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS HTC Sens 7.0 UI. Chinese customers will get the China Sense Theme Interface.
Apart from the 4-LTE connectivity, The HTC One M9+ sports a 5.2-Inch Super LCD3 Display that has 2560 x 1440 2K Resolution and 534ppi Pixel Density. The phone gets the processing power from 2.2GHz Octa Core 64-Bit MediaTek MT6795T Processor coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU for the Graphics and 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, thus ensuring smooth performance even when multi-tasking.
On the front is a 4 Mega Pixel Ultra Pixel Camera with F/2.2 Aperture, 27.8 mm Wide Angles for sharp selfie photos. On the back is a 20.7 Mega Pixels main camera on the back with Dual LED flash, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom, HDR, Panorama Geo-Tagging etc.
The 2840 mAh Li-Po battery ensures long hours of usage. The HTC One M9+ Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, USB Host, NFC, IR Blaster, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
