HTC Desire Eye – Full Specifications
HTC Desire Eye is now official. The Taiwanese Smartphone maker HTC has announced the smartphone at an event held in New York. The “HTC Eye Experience” is company’s new imaging software to be announced along with the smartphone. It comes pre-installed with the Desire Eye along with a planned update release for HTC One M8 in October followed by the Desire Series phone in 2015.

The phone features a 5.2-Inch Capacitive Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. It Screen has full HD Resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 424ppi Pixel Density and supports multi-touch. The device is IPX7 Certified which makes it Dust proof and water resistant up to 1 meter for 3o Minutes. Under the hood is a 2.3GHz Quad Core Krait 400 Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Processor, Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM for smooth performance.
The HTC Desire Eye specs also include 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB. It has a 13 Mega Pixel Front Camera with features like f/2.2, 22mm lens, BSI Sensor, Dual LED Flash, Auto Focus, Digital Zoom, Wide Angle, HDR, 1080p Video Recording. The Back side also sports a 13 Mega Pixel main Snapper with perks like f/2.0, 28mm Lens, BSI Sensor, Wide Angle, Dual LED Flash, Digital Zoom, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Face Detection, Panorama, Geo-Tagging and 1080p Recording @ 30 Fps. The Camera utilizes HTC Eye Experience with Face Tracking, Face Fusion, Screen Sharing, Split Capture, Live Makeup, Auto Selfie, Voice Selfie, Photo Booth and also comes with a dedicated camera button.
The Desire Eye runs on Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat OS and is powered by 2400 mAh Li-Ion non removable battery that easily gives talk time of up to 20 Horus. In terms of connectivity, the handset supports 2G, 3G and 4G-LTE networks. Other options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Dual Band, DLNA, MicrouSB V2.0, Bluetooth V4.0, GPS Support, NFC, 3.5mm Audio Jack, Stereo Speakers with built in amps, HTC BoomSound and 3 Microphones for enhanced noise cancellation.
