HTC Desire 826 with 5.5-Inch 1080p Display, Snapdragon 615 goes Official

HTC has announced the Desire 826 mobile phone at CES 2015 Tech Show held at Las Vegas. The handset is also listed on HTC website as well. The phone will initially launch in Asia-Pacific markets including and India followed by other regions.

HTC Desire 826 – Key Features

The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS overlapped with Sense UI. It will have a 5.5-Inch IPS Display with full HD Resolution of 1920 x 1080 Pixels. Under the hood will include a  1.7GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of Internal Storage memory. There will be a MicroSD Card slot as well which allows storage expansion up to 128GB

The Desire 826 sports a 4MP Ultra Pixel camera on the front with F/2.2 Aperture and Wide angle lens. On the back comes a 13 Mega Pixel main snapper with features like LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, BSI Sensor, 28mm Lens, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, HDR, Geo-Tagging, 1080p Video Recording etc.

The mobile phone will come in optional Dual SIM variants and will support 4G-LTE networks. It also has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB v2.0, A-GPS / GLONASS, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
