HSL Y501 Plus is an entry level phone that breaks wallnuts
HSL, an Indian smartphone brand that came into existence in 2014, has launched an entry level smartphone named Y501 Plus. It is priced at just Rs. 3,999,comes in White and Black colors and is available online on Snapdeal. Company is also offering Flip cover and Screen guard as in-the-box accessories.
Moreover, company boasts more than 440 customer care support points and has one of the largest distribution networks.
HSL Y501 Plus Specifications
This is a Dual Micro SIM Smartphone (GSM + WCDMA) with measurements of 145.5 x 73 x 9 mm and weighs 143 Grams. It runs on outdated Anroid 4.4.3 KitKat operating system and supports up to 21 Indian languages.
The Y501 Plus specs include 5-Inch IPS Display with 854 x 480 pixels FWVGA resolution and 233ppi pixel density. We have yet to confirm the screen protection however, company claims that the Display is strong enough to break wallnuts, without any damage. Multi-touch is also supported.
Inside is 1.2GHz Quad Core MediaTek Processor with 1GB RAM. Internal storage space is 8GB of which 6GB is user available. It also has microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB expansion.
The HSL Y501 Plus features a 5MP main shooter on the back with COMS Sensor, LED Flash, Auto Focus and Touch Focus. It also has 2MP selfie camera on the front as well.
The mobile comes with 2000 mAh Li-Po removable battery that gives 10 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby. Connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, MicroUSB V2.0, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. are present as well.
